Our Health and Safety Precautions

For many, the spread of this virus has caused fear and anxiety. Yet we are grateful that the Bible tells us, “For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you will sense God’s peace in the midst of these difficult circumstances. This does not mean we should be careless or reactionary but rather walk in wisdom as we serve the Lord and our community in a way that demonstrates our trust in God and our love for people.

We do consider the health and well-being of you and your family as a top priority. Not only is your physical health important, but also your spiritual health.  Church services will continue during this time, but we want you to know that we are taking precautions to help you feel safe within our buildings and still be able to fellowship with fellow believers and enjoy the presence of God in our services. We have put together several teams of people in the following areas to do extra cleaning and sanitizing before and after every service.

  1. Nursery

-All door handles, counter tops, toys, chairs, light switches, everything touched by the kids, and even pens will be cleaned and disinfected.

-Toys have been minimized to allow us to keep an eye on the toys used so to clean them.

  1. Children’s Classes and Other Classes

-Classrooms will be wiped down and sanitized thoroughly including tables, chairs, counter tops, toys (if applicable), doorknobs, and anything touched frequently.

  1. Sanctuary

-Every pew, handrail, door, door handle will be wiped down and sanitized.

-Hymn books and pew Bibles have been cleaned and removed. All words needed will be on the screen.

- Offering plates have been cleaned and put away. There will be baskets placed in the back or front of the Sanctuary where tithes and offerings can be dropped off. Please continue giving. The missionaries and our ministries still need our support.

-We will be promoting social distancing and no physical contact through hand shaking or hugs; thus, we will not be having the “Shaking of Hands  Fellowship” during our service for the next three weeks.

-Hand sanitizer stations are FULL and located throughout the Sanctuary and the foyer.

  1. Restrooms

-Our janitors do an excellent job keeping our restrooms clean and disinfected, but they will go over everything with extra disinfectant to make sure no germ survives.

-An attendant will be present to wipe down the restrooms throughout the service after uses.

5. Entire Building including the Gym, Hallways, Oasis Room, Computer Room, Kitchen. . .

-Every door, handle, light switch, table, chair, water fountain, wall, vent, plug, window, bleacher, basketball. . . has been cleaned and disinfected.

6. Main Entrance

-Although the main entrance doors have been wiped down, we added an extra safety precaution for your added protection from everyone going in and out those doors. There will be a door attendant to open the doors for you so that you do not need to touch anything.

The Buildings are Cleaned and Sanitized for your Health and Safety. Come on In and Enjoy the Services. We will be Happy to See You.

If you are ill or feel significantly uneasy about being out and about because of your health, please know that we understand and will continue to have the LIVE STREAM up and running. Don't miss getting spiritually fed.

We love you and are praying for you and your families’ continued safety and well-being and for all those who have been affected by this virus. We’re also praying for a cure from heaven and for our medical community as they deal with the impact of this pandemic.
